Prism Series | Curated Tile Collections for Interior Design Inspiration

The Prism Series has become established as a frequently specified range by Minoli’s professional design and developer clients seeking to differentiate with designs that realistically give the effect of hand trowelled concrete with a soft resin-like sheen.

The latest generation of porcelain tiles that emulate cast, poured or rendered surfaces can aptly fulfil the brief for an industrial, urban or minimalist design direction but also provide a more varied solution with microfine surface treatments, beautifully blended colour palettes and coordinating decor tiles.

RANGE OVERVIEW

Prism is a series of precisely rectified porcelain tiles, extra-large format slabs, 20 mm outdoor pavers and ceramic mosaics. Available in a broad range of sizes, with Matt, Silk, Grip and Structured Outdoor finishes, this series offers versatility of application in residential and hospitality settings.

The multi-toned layers and occasional dispersed markings within the super-saturated surfaces create remarkable depth and reinterpret elements of Italian architecture and art with a compelling and contemporary flair.

COLOURS AND DESIGNS

There are seven soft and sumptuous colours available in the Prism Series to suit all manner of desired design directions:

• Bloom – A soft and dusky pink, Bloom is creatively colourful with a powdery, pastel palette.
• Cotton – A delicate off-white with hints of cream and grey that create a muted backdrop to stronger-coloured fixtures and furnishings.
• Fog – A strong, industrial and smoky tone which would sit perfectly in a space styled for urban luxury.
• Suede – With rich brown undertones, Suede is a classic beige which would be a timeless choice within any project.
• Cord – The varying off-white surface has a sandy warmth, without appearing flat or one-dimensional.
• Graphite – An unmissable night’s sky black, which will make an opulent addition to an avant-garde interior design scheme.
• Cloud – Like its name’s sake, the undulating pale grey shading brings a sense modern minimalism and movement with a luscious, layered look.

Beyond this core set of seven shades, available for special order, the extended Prism Series includes brighter, bolder colours including Caramel, Grape, Dusk, Midnight, Moss and Emerald.

SIZES AND FINISHES

The Prism series comes in a wide array of dimensions and finishes including standard sized tiles, extra-large slabs, outdoor pavers and mosaics, with Matt, Silk and Grip finishes depending on the design, plus a textured exterior specification surface.

In more traditional formats and in 9 mm thickness, all colours (except Bloom) are available to order in a Matt finish in 30/60, 60/60, 60/120 and 120/120 sizes. Again in 9 mm but in a Silk finish and available in all colours (except Bloom) are 30/60, 60/60, 60/120 and 120/120 sized tiles.

Thereafter, Fog, Suede, Cord and Cloud are available in 120/120 dimensions and a 9 mm thickness, with a Grip finish and enhanced R11 slip-resistance rating, for use in wet areas and some outdoor applications.

In a 6mm thickness for ease of handling and installation and a Matt surface, all colours (including Bloom) are available expansive in 120/278 slabs offering uninterrupted floor to ceiling coverage in most settings.

Also, to enable near seamless transitions from indoors to outside, and as a viable and desirable alternative to natural stone or concrete paving, Fog, Suede, Cord and Cloud are available in 20 mm thickness, outdoor specification porcelain, in 80/80 and 120/120 sizes with a Textured surface, R11 slip-resistance rating and frost-proof qualities.

DECOR TILES AND MOSAICS

To complement the extensive range of wall and floor, indoor and outdoor tiles described above, the following Mosaics and Decor pieces are available.

• Prism Mosaico Matt – Traditional, mid-sized square mosaics in porcelain, supplied as 30/30 sheets for ease of exact installation on walls or floors, in a Matt finish and 9mm thickness, in all colourways (except Bloom).
• Prism Mosaico Maze Silk & Matt – In 31/35.7 sheets, an intriguing mix of rhombus and trapezoid shapes, ideal for creating a feature area on walls or floors, with a 9 mm thickness porcelain, in all colourways in Silk finish, and all (except Bloom) in Matt.
• Prism Bead Decor – Supplied on 29.7/29.6 sheets, Bead has the look of overlapping layers of round-ended oblongs that interlink when installed. Manufactured in 8.5 mm ceramic for wall applications only, Bead is available in all colourways (except Fog) in a Matt finish.
• Prism Wiggle Mosaic – An eye-catching 3D patten with the appearance of stacked square blocks, comprising a mix of matt and silk surfaces that bring a subtle sheen to the design. Supplied on 30.6/32.4 sheets, Wiggle is available in the Cotton and Bloom colours.
• Prism Gold / Bloom Decor – A truly exquisite decorative 50/120 wall tile, in high-grade ceramic with gilt-edged linear / dash dimples shimmering against a blush Bloom background.
